Q. How to mount FPSC?
A.Preventing from bending stress between main body and cooling head, please install the cooling head in a stress-free state.
Q.How do we select the FPSC, in case of cooling container?

Q.Can I install FPSC in any directions?
A.Both vertical installation and horizontal installation are possible.（ PDF ）
Q. How to mount cooling objects to FPSC?
A.You may mount cooling objects to FPSC by SC-CA04 Cold side adapter.
SC-CA04 is genuine cold side adapter for SC-UG08S and SC-TG08S.
Also, mount parts for cooling head are installed for SC-UERF and SC-UE15R.
Q.Can I set temperature over -20℃for FPSC?
A.FPSC is designed to be used under -20℃. Do not set temp. on Cold Head of FPSC over -20℃, such as -15℃ and -10℃.
Q. Do you support custom specifications?
A.No custom specifications are available.
Q. Is FPSC waterproof?
A.FPSC is not waterproof.
Q. What kind of power supply is suitable for FPSC?
A.Select the power supply with the following spec. for SC-UERF, SC-UE15R, SC-UE15.
Specifications : Output voltage DC48V, Maximum current : More than 9A
Select the power supply with the following spec. for SC-UG08S, SC-TG08S.
Specifications : Output voltage DC24V, Maximum current : More than 10A
Q. What kind of temp. controller is suitable for FPSC?
A.Select the temp. controller with Bank switching function.※ ※Bank switching function. The function is able to control output signal range(0～100％) according to the temp. measured by temp. controller.
Q. What kind of phenomenon is abnormal vibration?
A.You may refer to the attached document for detail（ PDF ）
Q.How to prevent an abnormal vibration from FPSC?
A.Control the Output voltage from Control PCB to FPSC at -20℃ or over on the Cold head of FPSC.
The temp. controller with Bank switching function can control the Output voltage to FPSC.
SC-UG08S and SC-TG08S prevent the abnormal vibration by detecting an abnormal vibration starting.

Q. FPSC does not operate.
A.
1.Check the wiring on Driver PCB of FPSC. Check the connector’s insertion.

2.Check the power supply for the FPSC.
(1)Power supply for SC-UERF, SC-UE15R, SC-UE15 :
Output voltage : DC48V, Maximum current : More than 9A
(2)Power supply for SC-UG08S, SC-TG08S.
Output voltage : DC24V, Maximum current : More than 10A
3.Is there Error signal from the Driver PCB?
FPSC is not operated while Error signal is output.
Restart FPSC to reset the Error signal.
Contact to SC sales department if the Error signal appears after restarting.
Q. FPSC and Freezing device do not get cold well.
A.
11.Check the thermal contact between Cold head of FPSC and Freezing device.
FPSC and Freezing device do not get cold well if the thermal contact is not good.
2.Check the insulation around the Cold head of FPSC.
FPSC does not get cold well without thermal insulation.
FPSC does not get cold well with poor thermal insulation.
3.Does Exhaust air from Fan motor return to Heat reject fin?
Warm side temp. will be high, since exhaust air from Fan motor circulates around
Heat reject fin. As a result, FPSC does not get cold well.
4.Is the position of SW1 switch※ is original?
※SW1 switch : Setting switch of Output Voltage Change on Driver PCB.
5.Is there Power save signal from Temp. controller?
6.Is there Error signal or Warning signal from Driver PCB?
FPSC does not operate by Error signal. FPSC does not get cold well by Warning signal.

Q.Any special items for import?
A.The following regulations shall apply to Stirling Cooler and permission for export by the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan is required before exporting Stirling coolers from Japan for abroad.
・Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Law-section 1 of article 48.
・Foreign Exchange and Foreign Trade Law-section 1 of article 67.
・Export Trade Control Ordinance-section 2 of article 8.

Q.What kinds of standards are complied to FPSC?
A.FPSC complies to Japanese Electrical Appliance and Material Safety Law. We recommend that you comply with appropriate standards for countries and applications with your equipment.
SC-UG08S and SC-TG08S described in this Declaration of Conformity complies with the Applicable European Directives as below.

※The Safety directive and EMC directive are evaluated under the condition of SC-UG08S and vertical installation. Compliance with the standards required for your product must be confirmed with your product.

Q. How to dispose FPSC?
A.Dispose FPSC according to the law and regulations of the country / region, after withdrawing the internal gas completely with piercing valve of φ 6.35 mm.

Q.Do SC-DF25, SC-BV25 and SC-C925 operate to keep set temp. even if the ambient temp. is lower than set temp?
A.Only SC-BV25 can keep temp. even if the ambient temp. is lower than set temp..
Those temp. of SC-DF25 and SC-C925 will go down if the ambient temp. is lower because those are freezers.

Q.FPSC portable freezer does not operate.
A.1. Check the Plug of AC adapter is inserted without looseness.
Check the Plug of DC power cable is inserted without looseness.
After checking the connection, if the product does not operate, Contact to SC sales department.（Contact）
2.Check the Battery low lamp is flashing.
3.Check the AC adapter and the DC power cable are original parts.
If purchasing the original part, Contact SC sales department. （Contact）
4.Turn off the product if the Alarm and Error signal appear from the product.
After restarting, if the Alarm and the Error do not stop, Contact to SC sales department. （Contact）
Q. AC adapter does not operate.
A.1. If asking to repair the AC adapter, full fill the check list and e-mail it to SC sales department.（ PDF ）
2.Check the AC adapter is original parts.

Q. DC power cable is broken.

Q.FPSC portable freezer does not get cold well.
A.
1.Are there a lot of storages in the product?
2.Close the lid of product completely.
3.Put the product away from gas table and stove. Put the product in the shade.
4.Do not block the Air intake and the Heat exhaust.
5.Do not open the Lid many times. Do not open the Lid long time.
6.Clean the air filter of the product.
7. Do not operate the product in a narrow space.
